Hi! I’m Terri Martin, the designer, maker and the creative mind behind Purple Martin Creative.

With over 20 years in graphic design, I’ve learned that great design does more than just look good; it tells a story, solves a problem, and gets people to take notice. That’s exactly what I aim for in everything I create. I focus on purposeful design that’s clean, consistent, and thoughtful, especially when it comes to helping businesses in the food industry stand out.

I began my career in the agency space, but for over 16 years, I’ve enjoyed working one-on-one with clients as a freelance designer building strong relationships and creating meaningful work together.

Outside of design work, you’ll probably find me exploring other creative outlets: experimenting with painting, doodling, mixed media, and hand lettering. Creativity is my passion, and I honestly can’t imagine life without it.

I was born and raised in the Northwest and eventually moved to Southern Arizona, a change that has opened up a whole new creative chapter for me. The Sonoran Desert is full of color, texture, and unexpected beauty, and exploring it with my family has been a constant source of inspiration. As I continue to grow in my own creative practice, I’m also drawn to the idea of inspiring others by helping to spark creativity and make space for artistic exploration in other people’s lives, too.
